Default 'details, details' >

you're right - plan on another grand or so just farting around with custom programming that will be questionable at best.

Default so, there's a worthwhile gain just installing them>>

with some programming out there, either stock or one of the off-the-shelf flavors. But what are the downsides? Lumpy idle? Which way is the peak power moved in the rev band? Assuming UP. Got a link with more details?

Default your right

it is alot of money. but some have to be the leaders in what others dont have yet. no matter what prog will be avail soon and now you already have the cams in as were others now have to order install and prog. not saying anybody is soft here but some want things fast and to be one of the few who have it.

Default and I do, and since I did a lot of research >

while doing an engine rebuild earlier this year, that's why it's tempting; unfortunately, with my fwd, it does seem I can only put so much power down to the road (and my guess is that limit is another 50 or so), and there are other ways to get it that are 'more proven' - so you're right, I do want something that spends more time in my hands than at my shop - and realize that this year alone I've been taking 'alternate transportation' for more than 2 months in pursuit of reliable performance - including an item or two from you guys - so cut me a little slack, please. :-)
