02 225 TTR has 2600 Miles on it, when did you get your first Oil Change? First Scheduled is 10k.

Despite what Audi says, I think 10K is just way too long an interval for a turbocharged car.

I'm sticking with every 5K myself, though you could probably push it out to 7500 if you wanted to...

And it has close to 2k miles on it. Even tho the maintenance guide says to change the oil every 10k miles, with the regular maintenance, I feel much better about changing the oil every 5k. I plan on going to the dealer, and paying for the oil change at 5k.

I don't know if I'll bring in my own syn (Mobil-1), or have them use the synth they use on Porches, or go with the regular dino juice they seem to use in Audis.

If you have no qualms about oil changes at 10k, it probably won't be a problem. But I feel better with a shorter interval. Remember, Audi is in the car selling business.

5K...the 225 eats oil. Make sure you've checked yours if you haven't done so already.

I don't drive my car very hard, but the dipstick read "1/2" at 2500 miles. Since then, not a drop (at least to my eyes).
