Default 02 factory CD changer/CD's won't load!

I've loaded up the changer with 6 CD's , label up and inserted correctly as per common sense and the manual. Inserted cartridge while stereo was on. watch the indash go through and load (pre-load/scan??) each CD. I can hear it doing that as well.

After the scan is done it sits there at CDC1, does not play, indicates 0:00 for time Track 1.will not let me advance to next CD, track, or fast forward!

I'm stumped! Any insight into this problem would be appreciated. Indash single CD works fine.

BTW the CD magazine was missing from my car when I bought it, went and picked it up from the parts department. It's a panasonic magazine and it fits perfectly

Default Hmmm, is it a CDR or CDRW?

I've only had problems with the CD player when it is really cold out and that usually fixes itself once the car warms up.

All CDR's The same ones work fine in the indash. I like to make copies so as not to ruin the factory masters

turn it off, wait for 30-secs or so, and turn it back on... works for me!

Default Yeah, I usually run CDRs in the changer also...

even full length 80 minute long burns usually work. Try loading a regular CD in slot one in the changer and see what happens. Maybe it just doesn't like your CDRs for some reason?
