I just need to know. You would think it would line up well. Isn't it the Same Tranny used in the Turbo S bug.

A Quattro trans is different. Suggest you don't even think about doing this..

seems like a fun idea. If he OWNS it and is trading it in to a dealer, why not? Buyer beware.... unless they ask him "hey is this a 5 or 6 speed," which they won't, who cares. Car dealerships have been screwing people over for years. This is mild in comparison to some of the stuff they pull. Like my TT that I bought with the balance of the factory warranty. Yeah, literally two day's worth. Bastages.

24v VR6 cars
1.8t VWs with 6spd(turbo S, 337, etc)

it's stronger, smoother, notchier, etc!!!!

no reason at all to use the old school 5spd
