Is the 1/2 KMAC kit supposed to come with the KMAC tool or just with the full kit?

There is no 1/2 kit...
KMAC only sells a kit, which is 4 eccentric bushes and the tool.
When someone buys a kit and only uses 2 bushings and sells the other 2, they call it a "1/2 kit." Whether they pass on the tool or not is negotiable, I suppose.

since that one shows a picture of their "1/2 kit" with no tool, and the text says "Half kit includes 2 bushings. (Bushing removal tool available for loan at no additional cost if needed, email us for details.)"
If that were the one, he wouldn't have to ask the question.

well I was really only responding to you saying "There is no 1/2 kit..."
whatever the website says just means he didn't do his own research. I'm just pointing out that they do sell a "1/2 kit"

ECS is not K-MAC, and I did point out that people take K-MAC kits and sell 2 bushes from it, calling them "1/2 kits." That is exactly what ECS does.
Since there is no real "K-mac 1/2 kit," there is no standard for whether what someone chooses to call a "1/2 kit" includes a tool or not.

gotcha, I didn't know that TTstuff was also just selling half of a full kit...
I thought there was such a thing as a 1/2 kit that came from KMAC. Sorry :-\
