Default 1.8 engine

my dealer told me that i have to buy new engine!
, while im driving the piston broke up and destroyed other items ! my guessing was only that i need the head and the four pistons. and now i dont know if the dealer right or not.

As I would expect there is a lot of damage to the block as well...

Default if you gotta buy a new engine..i think you should get a V6/VR6

and transplant that sucka in.

or maybe a V8! haha

Default Um.. were you highly modded or stock? That should never have happened. Take it up with AOA

never should a piston "break up".

Default Part failure, overstress, NOS, who knows....>>

Nothing you can do to prevent it actually, other than not stressing the engine beyond design limits (which are pretty darn high)

Default Screw that then. Call up AOA.. there is NO reason that a piston should go on these cars EVER

that is a manufacturing defect no doubt.
