No synthetic from the factory.......>>>
although that may have changed with the new interval schedule. Most of us either bring our own synthetic or pay the difference at the free services.....

My observation on US car owners is that they have been brainwashed by the oil companies......
into thinking 3000 mile oil changes are necessary.
10K oil change interval is fine. Note, in Europe, after the initial oil change the interval is 30,000 miles.

It had like a 9 qt sump. Leaked so much he just kept adding oil. Never changed it in 15 years. Suspect it always had fresh oil in it though! Very British, of course!

Europeans drive differently than we do...
Specifically, most Europeans don't make quick trips that don't even allow the oil to warm up (to the video store, to the grocery store, etc.)
