1095 miles to empty!!!! Can anyone beat this? Read on.
Ever wondered what mileage the trip computer can show? Well I got this reading this afternoon on my way home.
What you should know. I was doing 65mph at the time. I was on I80 on the Western (down side) of the Sierra. I had filled up 50 miles before, at Sparks NV. That 50 miles included climbing from 5,000 ft to 7,700 feet at the Donner Summit in 20 miles from Reno.
So now I'm wondering if I'd filled up at the top of Donner and had all downslope what sort of reading I'd see.
Can anyone beat my 1,095 miles to empty display?

Well, when I got to the top of Independence Pass it said 30 miles, but at Aspin,
60 miles later, it said 390 miles, so musta made about 10 gal of gal along the way, love it. Frank<p>
