Do I have to go with the 28m Rear sway bar for a FWD 180? Would it even make a difference if I could go 19m sway rear for a FWD 180?
Thanks much!

I'd recommend the thicker bar if you do. You'll get a little more oversteer, which is very helpful on the FWD.
If you're just looking for something good on the street, the 25mm are more than enough. It'll be a bit more comfortable, and you won't be lifting the rear inner wheel on driveways nearly as often.

I have a 28mm Neuspeed rear bar on my 2000 FWD TT. Makes a big difference. There is already a roll bar built in to the twist beam axle. You can feel it when you install the new bar. Just reach in behind the axle, and there it is. You can really feel the car tighten up in the back end. The only think I don't like about this mod is the slight little noise that the end links make where the bar connects to the shocks...but heck, its a trade-off for the enjoyment I have now. 19mm rear bar would not fit on at FWD. Probably already has a 19mm built into the rear axle anyway. Good luck
