I’m working on a 2001 TT / AMU. On the bottom side of the bracket by the dipstick tube There appears to be a hose missing from this valve. I have looked everywhere and don’t see a loose hose. Does anyone have an idea where this hose should be connected to?

Also found this connected dangling down on the drivers side front of the engine. It hasn’t been connected for some time as the connected is full of road grime. Again there is no obvious place to connect it to

I believe that is the secondary air injection solenoid valve which would have that connection vented to outside air. It should have a cap on it to prevent crud from getting in there, maybe an Audi p/n 078906315, "Ventilation cap". The connection looks remarkably rust free compared to the stuff around it, my guess is the vent cap got knocked off recently.
No idea about the elec connector.
