I have just bought a 2000 Audi tt, the 180hp model and am having problems with the turbo, it will hold sometimes at 15psi then other times it will spike at 15psi but drop to 10. the last people that owed this car have installed a boost controller, but had it installed wrong, after fixing that it held at 18psi for a day and is now back to the doing the same thing. I ordered a forge 007p D.V. and was wondering if that would help any? Ive also replaced the Rod bearings, the Clutch and Flywheel, a few vacuum lines and hasn't helped any of this. ive tried spraying carb cleaner to find a leak but it hasnt done anything. I'm stumped on this and need help.

Also it sounds like there is an exhaust leak only when accelerating.
