2001 AUDI TT Roadster Drain Locations- wet passenger floor
Ive been getting water in my tt after a heavy rain storm. it's not leaking from the convertible top. Iv'e been told to clean the water drains. which is a common problem in TT's. COULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHERE THESE DRAINS ARE LOCATED. and how to clean them , pictures would be a great help. THe car is only a two seater, but the water tends to collect under the passenger by the back wall. Please help!
Thanks

If you find them let me know...

I occasionally get damp carpets on the passenger side as well after heavy storms, and it's not coming from my top either. I've taken to hanging a moisture absorption bag behind the passenger seat, which mostly does the trick. You can find the bags at Walmart or Home Depot.

This might help some, hopefully someone has more specifics. At the bottom of the cloth top, the
water collects at the rubber seal. Push the seal back and look along it. At the end of those channels there are holes (there may be some along the channel as well). You should be able to see them, and you can likely use either a coathanger or other stiff wire to clear them out.
