Default *cough* bull**** *cough*

that grill is the single worst cosmetic mod visited upon a true automotive design icon. It is a sin to even look upon it, in my opinion.

Default kinda 2nd that...

"Everyone here has an issue if you don't "drop" the car and put some 18" gun metal wheels (like every other TT)"

... but it's good to put that grille on there "like every other Audi of this generation?"

Default "Everyone here has an issue if you don't "drop" the car and put some 18" gun metal wheels"

WTF?

Hopefully your 10th post will actually make sense.

Default where's the disagreement?

I was just quoting his post... unless I'm just a little slow tonight and missing a joke/sarcasm because finals week is coming up and my head hurts :-\

btw I can't stop drooling over your wheels. I built a silver TT in Forza2 and got myself a set of those.

Default Re: 2001 Audi TT for sale! No Reserve on Ebay! 30k in Upgrades!

deposit placed on car today for 18k. car removed from ebay.

Pending the rest of the payment. =)

Thanks everyone for your comments!

btw.. i posted the oem stuff on there, because not every TT came with those parts (oem wing or disc changer). I wanted to clarify what system is currently in the car because I stated in my post it used to have a competition audio setup. I am sure any buyer would want to know that. I put the fog lights in headlights thing, for buyers that don't know everything about the car (not everyone knows EVERYTHING about the TT) Thanks for nit picking my sale!

Default Re: 30k in "upgrades"? You must have paid a *lot* for labor >

yes, the mods on the car cost over 30k. Not all in labor. The rims, first of all, cost over 6k. They were custom made for this car 6 years ago. The paint is not original factory color. A good paint job costs around 5k. And when this car was painted it went to the best over 4 years ago. (I know all of this because the person who built the car is a good friend of mine)

and btw.. I purchased the car with a blown motor with all these parts already. This car was in magazines and sponsored well before I got it. (I WILL be making a profit on this sale)

rear bumper is way too low. Not a uniform body kit.
