Default 2002 TT Details nobody has any...

My local VA dealers still have no clue as to the changes to the 2002's. They keep saying that it is "exactly" like this years so why not but one now - they imply. Wow that pisses me off.

I know the 2 new colors and the in-dash CD player are going to be in there, so why don't they? Anyone else get frustrated with the lack of information?

Where are you in VA? If you're in Northern VA, it doesn't surprise me in the least.

Default After a year and a half owning a TT in this area, you kind of figure it out.... When I went to ...

pick up my TT, they didn't even know where the CD changer was, nor how to put the boot on. I quickly found out that I knew a lot more about the cars than the folks selling them did.

Default Is it just Northern VA or is it nation wide incompetence .

I cant stand these arrogant ****** with a "do you want the car or not" selling attitude. I would think that they would work a bit harder to get their 40 grand.
At the very least treat a buyer with respect, cause he probably done some research, and is gonna figure it out when you try to deceive him.

Its not that big of a deal just be a competent salesman.

Sorry for the rant- Just hate HBL

Default Try north of the river.

I walked into a Northern Virginia Audi dealer unshaven, with shorts and t-shirt and couldn't get the time of day. Walked into Rockville Audi shaven, with jeans and a t-shirt and have had a pleasant experience so far (pick it my leased 2001 Denim today WOOHOO!). Granted it was a Saturday for the NOVA dealership and a monday for the Rockville dealer, but to date (4+ visits) they have dealt very fairly, never guessed about anything they weren't sure on (like 2002 changes, which they got about 2 weeks ago) and never said the information I got off the internet that I know to be true was inaccurate (like invoice or lease money factors).

Default Somehow I knew it had to be HBL.... Tischer seems to get good reviews, but it's too far for us ....

to drive from Reston for service. Their sales folks seem to be a bit better informed also. (Actually, although none of the dealerships in the area really jump out as truly stellar, HBL has got to be the lowest of the low in terms of reputation.)

Default Might take a drive up there this weekend.

Just to see what they got as information goes. So far I have been treated with respect at the alexandria dealer, but their information has been lacking. I have the utmost contempt for HBL of tysons.
