Default "Missing" or just not worth the money.

I don't understand why in a time of mapquest and, well, maps, people shell out thousands for a Nav.

Default It depends on what you want from your car

If you want an inexpensive track car, the 350Z is a no-brainer. If you want an attractive, well built, comfortable car with the assurance provided by Quattro, the TT is the better bet. If you drive both cars as I have, the merits and shortcomings of each car become readily apparent. Since I don't race, the TT was an easy choice for me.

Because they are poor planners or are just lazy Americans.

Default I disagree, the 350Z is no more of a track car than the TT...

it's as heavy as a TT (even tho it is just RWD) and isn't balanced as well as a more serious track car would be. The Z should handle better and be faster than a stock TT but I think a few simple mods really closes the gap. The Z is certainly quite a bit cheaper than the TT but I'd gladly pay the extra money for the interior and the details that make the TT work so much better.

Default 2nd that, for the cost of a Z...

... you could build up a used Miata to be a real track car.

Default Agreed. What a sad sack of an interior. Essentially ruins what is a cool looking car...

... with some pretty respectable performance abilities.
