225 Arrival in the states
When are the anticipated delivery dates for the 225Q TT in the states? It seems that AudiUSA.com has decided to stop updating there web pages. Also does anyone know what the MSRP is supposed to be. I'm going to stroll to the nearest dealership to put down some money, but I hate walking in anywhere when they know more information than I do. How about the 225 Roadster?
I would already own the 180, but my wife had to buy her new truck first...
Oh well, the best things come to those that wait.

Re: 225 Arrival in the states
Several local dealers claim March 2000 with a price < $40k (one claims $37k, but he also says #30k for a 180fwd -- it is likely that everything coming over will be "loaded" with options, so the $40k might be a closer approximation).
The waiting lists are already deep -- you might have to do some serious looking around, or paying over msrp, to get one by late Summer.

While I haven't talked to the dealer, waiting lists seem to vary dramatically. Up here in the Northwest, I have heared that the waiting lists are a little easier to deal with (everyone drives a truck as can be witnessed by my wife and her 40k monster truck). Hell there are only 2 dealerships in Oregon. I don't even want the car until June next year though, so I'd like to think that I'm not going to have to much trouble.

Re: 225 Arrival in the states
I put my order in after first seeing the TT at the Detroit Auto Show 1 1/2 years ago, but keep putting it off waiting for the 225Q to arrive! Dealer says March/April 2000, I HOPE... In the mean time my wife gets to replace her 96, A4Q next week with the release of the A6-T, me I have to keep my GTI running through another Ohio winter.

Re: 225 Arrival in the states
I just booked one the other day, and the dealer told me they'd be arriving in spring (March/April?) and that I'd probably have one by late summer (unless some people dropped off the list). He said the price would be just under $40k, translating to a lease payment in the low to mid $500s.
Also, this was from the #2 dealer in the US (Carousel Autos, Minneapolis). I called a dealer in Charlottesville, Virginia, and they said you can book the car in the nex 2 months and still have it in spring (but I don't want to drive all that way). So if you can't wait, go to the small towns with an Audi dealer.
