From my point of view (I traded my TTC180F a month ago for an TTC225Q) the engine response is stronger with the turbo lag being a little bit longer. Apart from this the main difference is the quattro drive vs FrontWD - you hell of
notice it when driving on wet streets in town! The six-gear-box is quite cute, too. In case you want to do heavy shopping - remember that you have less space in the trunk on quattro versions.
And last (but no least in the eye of the owner) - the dual exhausts look better![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I'd definitely recommend the 225.

Only get the 225 if you live where you have snow otherwise you are wasting your money because the quattro runs 95% of the time in FWD mode. In addition the 180 FWD is 351 pounds lighter than the 180Q coupe and 551 pounds lighter than the 225Q roadster. So when you chip a 180 FWD you can easily smoke a stock 225 based first on weight and second on the great performance of the chip. I have taken on 225Qs and Boxsters and they can't compete. I haven't tried a 225Q with a chip yet. I have driven both the 180 and 225 multiple times and I would still buy another 180 because I feel that it handles much better than the 225 for many reasons. Just my humble experienced opinion!

they handled pretty much the same, but the 225 gave me that "kick in the pants" feel that I want in a car like this, the 180 didn't. Also the 6-speed is great, that extra gear really comes in handy for things like passing at highway speed (drop down to 5th.)
Plus the fact that you DO want to get quattro, but if you get it in a 180 the extra weight makes it more sluggish.
Just my opinion, your mileage may vary.
