Default 225TTR vs. CLK 430

I currently have the TT, but am thinking about trading it in for the CLK. The cost would be arout $300 more per month for the CLK. Does anyone have a good review or opinion on the performance, etc. of the CLK vs. the TT? Please e-mail me at cgreenberg@kl.com

Thanks.

Default sweet car, but I know for a fact that it will not give you the smiles per mile

that the TT will..

Its a sweet car and with the AMG package it looks the bullocks.

Default Totally different. You need to test drive and decide what you prefer. It's like comparing apples to

oranges.

Default Drove my bosses

And it's a totally different car. The CLK has a lot more power, it's a lot bigger and no manual shift. On the other hand, it broke out easily and generally scared the bejeezus out of her to watch me drift it :-)

Default I did just that last week....

Just sold my 225TTR and bought a used 2000 CLK430 cabriolet - two very different rides. CLK430 is more powerful, haven't driven a V8 for a while and it's a nice feeling. TTR is more fun to drive with the 6-speed and handling but the CLK430 is no slouch either - it is definitely a smoother more luxurious ride. Of course for the extra $$$ it should be. The CLK430's are pricey but the resale seems to be strong, whereas the TTR resale is somewhat disappointing. They are indeed two very different cars but both look and ride great. I love 'em both. For me there were too many occasions when I needed a 3rd or fourth seat so I bit the bullet and went for the CLK430. I'm very happy with it but I do miss the TTR.

Default You know, honestly I don't remember.

It wasn't a 2002 so I don't know if she had it or not. Logic says I turned it off or she didn't have it because the tail shouldn't break loose with it on!

It probably had it; maybe she hadn't checked her tire pressure in eons. ;-)
