235s? are they going to rub?

Hi all

I'm ready to get some new shoes and coilovers for my 225TTQ...here's what on my shopping list...

1. Bilstein PSS coilover (can adjust height only)
2. Ronal 18"x8 R38 with audi 4 rings center cap
or
OZ superleggera 18"x8
3. Tires...deciding on 225/45/18 or 235/40/18

Based on this set up...do you think I will have problems going for 235s? Some people told me it is perfectly fine with 235 all around, and some told me only the fronts rub...any comments/experience?

No problem with 235/45 17s @ every corner (stock wheels).

And, I may just be going with your no. 3 setup myself, with 235s, in the not too distant future. :-)

235/35-19'S... with H&R coilovers. no rubbing.

235's on 18x8 might rub just a bit but nothing a fender roll wouldn't fix.

225/40/18 is recommended.
