yeah, but it's not permanent. it's temporary based upon slippage.

Default That might also cause a holdup at the ports...

B6 S4s weren't being released because they didn't have the GG tax on the window sticker. The cars needed to have new stickers put on before they could be sold.

It is permanent, the driver doesn't have to enable it.

Default I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not...

The TT has Quattro permanent all wheel drive. Quattro's the marketing term for AWD for Audi. It's permanent because it can't be disengaged and is technically always on, even though it doesn't distribute much, if any, power to the rear in optimal condition. And it's all wheel drive because it redistributes power, as oppose to 4WD.

The AWD system is always there, just not always engaged :-)

they should call it "Involuntary AWD" instead of "Permanent AWD"

no they shouldn't, if it wasn't on all the time, it wouldn't know when to redistribute power
