Default 3 inch Downpipe for 225 QC

Anyone ever find a good reasonably priced 3 inch downpipe for a 225 QC? I just noticed these on Ebay but they look to be for a FWD. Any thoughts?

Default This one requires a few modifications to install but works fine I'm told..

Actually it just needs one thing to install.... The Del Rio Stage three kit.

Default Cause there is nothing new...

3" is too big unless you're running a big momma turbo...

Default Steve,

Do you recc. a 2.5 inch downpipe with high flow cat to my current Blue Flame exhaust. Would I notice a difference? Should I stay stock downpipe to Blue Flame?

Others on the forum have had good results with a 2.5 inch down pipe.

Default For the amount of $$....>

You would need to spend I think a high flow cat and stock pipe is fine. Maybe when you go big turbo..

There is no "Reasonably" priced downpipe of any size for the 225 that I am aware of..

Default Unfortunately the company that created mine decided not to go through with production

I'm still not at liberty to share the price I paid for mine so unfortunately I'm not of much help. Although some may say that the 3" is overkill, I feel that its actually quite a good performer. Even if you take a look over at the 1.8T section of vortex, even on the k03 it seems the 3" would net the most gain. All in all; I love my downpipe and I can't complain about the 13.4 1/4mile time that came with it.
