The Oil Miniumum warning came on and I immediately pulled over into a gas station.
I bought a Quart of 5w-30 (they didn't have syn), and put half in, checked it, and put the rest in.
That still wasn't enough, so I went in and bought another quart and put a quarter of that in too!
The clerk saw my car (I was the only one at the station), when I bought the second quart, I jokingly said to him "I gotta stop racing those Z6 Corvettes..."![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
At any rate, would you consider this normal oil consumption. I mean, AoA says don't get an oil change till 10k miles and I'm putting 1.25 Quarts in at 3.2k miles.....
Your thoughts?

Many people have reported the same and someone was even told to watch it by their service guy.. I think its got better though.. Maybe its just from breakin, or maybe they don't fill it up all the way at the factory? I have no confirmed answer..

Especially with a low mileage car. Mine burned a quart from 8K to 10K...Lots of people here seem to be surprised when the oil light comes on. This is a turbo car, performance oriented and hard on it's oil. Make it a habit to check more frequently. It'll be better for your car and result in fewer roadside surprises for you....!

3000 miles since my last oil change and the oil level hasn't changed at all (currently at 17,500 miles...)
