Default 4,500 miles, I think my DV sounds more like a wiffle bat (180TTQC)

Started 2 days ago, let off the gas get the funny sound, and less power. pretty sure its the DV. Will be taking it in for service anyway, think I'll splurge on a forge after they verify which I was holding off on because of a tax gouge.

Now if I go over a little bit of rough road while letting off the gas with the windows up I get some really nifty sounds, back rear deck rattles windows make that funky rubbing/kinda squeak nose and someone is swinging a wiffle bat, oh and my windshield wiper fluid just started to run out so that weird picture just makes it all so much more cool.

While I'm at the dealer I'll be asking if they'll pry my rear shelf and silicon it for me, and clean and wipe my rubber seals with silicon around the windows, figured it doesn't hurt to ask, anyone had the dealer actually do this for them?

Sure am glad this board his here, its been a wealth of knowledge.

Default

Same problem on 180FWDC at 4,150 miles... Forge time after 5K service.

Default Get it replaced right away, don't wait too long! >>>

OEM DV started to go after 5K miles, put off fixing it and got humiliated on some hills. What a difference with the Forge! Now the car runs like it was supposed to.

Default Forge is more than a solution, it's like a whole new car . . .

After trying to fix the noise for 8 months, my dealer finally bought and installed a Forge. I did the rear shelf myself - took about an hour, gotta have lots of prying tools and little sticks of wood. Goes back together very easily.
