Default 42 Draft Designs...

Maybe I'm behind on things, but are they no longer selling their 3" race series downpipes? I checked the site today to order one, and it said they were "Not For Sale."
Can anyone enlighten me?

Thanks!<ul><li><a href="http://store.42draftdesigns.com/Audi-TT-225-3-Downpipe--Race-Series_p_48-120.html">In case you needed specifics</a></li></ul>

?! Odd, the street series says the same thing. Give them a call and ask, and let us know!

Default I guess that should have been my first step...

Apparently they are out, and it should be changed sometime next week. I'll just have to be patient

Default Check their "news" page

We are currently not accepting orders for the following exhaust products:

VW mk4 1.8T 3" Downpipes - K03 &amp; K04
VW mk4 3" Cat-Back Systems
Audi TT 225 Downpipes
Audi TT 180Q Downpipes

We apologize for any inconvience this may cause. We are not currently staffed to handle the demand for these products. Before taking any additional orders we must satisfy all open orders, increase our fabrication staff, and replenish our stock. Once again, we apologize. We prefer to not accept orders when excessive delays are the only option.

If you have recently placed an order for any of the above products, your order will be shipped as soon as possible. We are working hard to complete all open orders in a timely manner. If you have not received a shipment notification by 5pm Friday 3/21 please email sales@42draftdesigns.com for an update. Thanks for your patience,

42DD is an awesome company. I feel for Evan because he is such an enthusiast and never has time play with his car anymore as much as we do.

I remember meeting Evan in 2000 when we both had one of the first Neuspeed Superchargers on our 2.0 Jettas. (BTW, we really didn't hang out because we live too far apart and his dad and I are much closer in age--I've got a daughter his age--but I digress.) He was the first, I believe, to use water/meth injection on the NS SC because it had no intercooler. He then sold the SC and bolted a turbo on his 2.0. I think he blew it up somewhere along the way.

Anyway, Evan is smart and knows how important it is to deliver customer satisfaction (not just service) to this very fickle community we are. Be patient and he will come through.

Default Sure seems like they could have used better wording than "not for sale"...

"Backorderd, check back later" or "too popular for you to get one" would be better! ; )

"Too popular for you to get one"... now why can't more businessmen take that approach?
