Default could any one tell me.........

from looking inside ure 42dd down pipe, doe th welds looks mooth and nice like they do on the out side or are they disscollored and kind of chunky looking? i am wondeirng, whne tig welding these together does 42dd "back gas or purge" the tube on the inside inorder to help produce a truely shilded tig weld thats 100% pure and not contaminated? if not, that would account for a lot of cracking possibilites down the road ....... i have heard of other companys that "tig weld" parts but dont back gas while they weld having major cracking/fiailure issues that are directly related to not being done properly, or not so much properly but done to the highest standard possible.

its easy to tell, a back gass'd part will look jut about as good inside of the weld as ou tside.

a non back gass'd part will look like my mom on the later end of a sunday night..... dirty, chuncky, kind of beat...... still gets the job done but would u want to be stuk with taht for ever?......

Default looking at my (never been on the car) cat

the welds look the same (clean and not discolored) on the inside with almost no material build up

Default I had concerns a while ago >>

Evan took care of me and sent me new seals and bolts, which will be the first thing installed once I take her out of storage.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/21183342@N03/sets/72157603801145285/</a
