I read through McPaudiTT's Fotki site and it appears to be different from what I am seeing under mine. I have two drain plugs, one on the bottom and one on the front about 4 inches up. I can't seem to locate the Bevel Box plug. It appears that I need to fill it back up through the plug on the front side, because I can't see any evidence of another plug to remove to fill it as in his Fotki.

Anyone else DIY the tranny oil on a 2000? RoberTT?

Follow the driveshaft into the trans. The small transfer case there is the Bevel Box. YOu can sorta seeit here to the rear of the Sump level sender. Drain plug is In the side of that case facing the passenger side. It is a vertical, rather than horizontal plug...
