Audi, fully owned by Volkswagen(quote from Yahoo! UK & Ireland: VOWG.F), has invested 1.2 billion marks in Hungary since 1992 and currently builds about one
million engines a year, or 90 percent of all Audi motors, at the Gyor plant, its largest foreign facility.
It also builds 50,000 units per year of its new TT coupe and roadster there.

I hate to bring you down, but the 1.8 liter engine block is used in every thing from a Beetle to a Jetta to a Golf to an A4 to a Passat ...
I finance a lot of part suppliers and continue to be absolutely amazed at the scales VW & Audi have achieved.
If you don't like your car assembled in Hungary, maybe you should buy one of those BMW's made in South Carolina, or better yet, one of those M-B minivans (sorry, sport ute's) built in Tennesee!!

Should have known Rocker drove a Vette. Doesn't look like his "active response system worked to well on Monday" (or his curve ball last night). Can't wait to see the Yanks spank him (I've put my other hat on).
