50 degree mornings -- heat comes on.
I like to leave my auto climate on, set to 73 degrees. Works fine in summer but on moderately cool days the heat will often come on when you dont want it for the first few minutes of driving. I have to set the temp down to 65 or so or turn the auto climate, or even the whole system, off to avoid getting heat I don't want. Do other's Audis act this way too? My wife's Lexus, and the Chrysler before it could be set to 73 and forgotten, regardless of outside temp.

Re: Although I dislike the way our climate control works for various
Ok I see why you would ask that , but what I get is too much heat. ( for my taste) I don't like warm air from the face level vents when it's not very cold, but the auto climate does that on these moderately cool start ups. If it is truly cold outside the heat is at floor level and I don't mind. I'm sure it is just the way it is programmed. Just mentioning it to verify that others were similar in operation.
