Default 6MT Notchy Shifting

Hi All,
I've scoured the Internet for an answer but unfortunately can't seem to find anything besides, that's how these cars are sometimes.

I have a 2004 225 6MT and the best way I can describe the shifting is notchy. It feels like I have to manhandle the shifter to get into the right gears. It's been this way since I bought it 6 months ago.

Things I've done to try and fix it.
1. Replaced the clutch bleeder valve with a billet one
2. Gearbox oil change with Redline (whatever the spec is), twice
3. Reset the home positions
4. New shifter bushings and reset the home position again

I don't know what else to try at this point. It still goes into gear, but it almost feels like it's two steps. It halfway slides in, then there's a secondary movement.

New shifter bushing at the transmission or in the actual shift box? Failing bushings are common there and will leave you without being able to shift (I made a 120m drive home after shutting off the car, selecting 3rd, and slipping/nursing it up to speed - howls right along at 4500rpm or so on the highway)

Diesel Geek has repair kits I've used several times on different TTs.
