Default Goo-Gone, or old fashioned Bug/Tar Remover

If nothing gets it off immediately, don't go too nuts trying to remove it - your efforts will damage the paint more than the sap ever would. It will slowly come off with time.

Ziano's Clay bar worked wonders for me. Mcquires also sells the same item. You might give it a try.<p>https://www.audiworld.com/forum/m/finishreg.phtml?cookie=acb3fabda00e58dbe8742ac6615 4b9d5

This would be a bit straight forward, Do not park around trees or under them. Tree sap is quite bad for finishes on car paint.

A detailer which I've used periodically for my A4 suggested rubbing alcohol to remove the sap, and then a bit of wax, rubbed on, and wiped off quickly. I've used this several times, and its worked, and with no ill effects on the finish.
