more conflict among members. I was really surprised to discover that we have that many members--don't recall seeing more than a couple hundred or so posting (at least regularly). Aren't there only about 100,000 TTs in the world?

Anyway, as someone mentioned yesterday, is the growth responsible for heightened tensions? Or is it (as in real life) that as some folks get to know other folks more that they disagree more? Or something else?

I often wonder about the parallels between forums and real life...
