ABS light just lit up, turned off the car it was gone... glitch in the matrix?

Default Probably your phutzelfgraf valve... get it replaced soon
or your rotors will melt.

Acceleration sensors do that. Code will be stored if that is the case.

Default Sorry I didn't elaborate---- Mine started doing it occasionally gradually got worse.--------
Finally had to have them (longitudinal and lateral) changed. Mine got where it affected braking. Abs would cycle when it shouldn't. Codes are 01423 and 01729 . Search "longitudinal and lateral acceleration sensors" lots of posts there. Unfortunately too many of them mine :-) . Good luck

could be MAF. clean it and see if it comes back.
