Default When your tank is low, follow this procedure...

Turn the key half way, you know just enough so that all of the electrical things light up.

This will enable the fuel pump and pressurize the fuel system. Then the car will start as if the tank is full.

Default This proceedure works even better when tank is low....

1. drive to gas station
2. fill tank
3. start car again

sorry....I had to do it.

Default Mine does the same.

I also had a car that did that as well. The only difference is it was a Honda CRX with 230,000 miles on it and worth about 900 bucks.

Default You should turn the key and WAIT until the "OK" disappears...

this gives the electric pumps the time to pressure the fuel delivery to the engine.

Then your car will start. That's my experience anyway.

Default Definitely try gas change.

I consistently could duplicate the same problem with one type of gas. It would always start if I waited the second until "OK" was displayed. When using my normal gas Amaco 93, I never experienced this problem.
