Default Ack, I hit something on the freeway and it cracked my front air dam :(

Was dark and raining, car ahead of me and I hit something and ran over it. It cracked my air dam below the bumper. Dealer says no damage underneath, but that I would need a "front bumper".

Anyone have suggestions for alternative body parts instead of the stock look?

Do I need the whole bumper?

Default Accckkk!!!

I think you do need the *whole thing* - its all just one big piece of molded something-or-another. At least, this was my experience, when some horrible (dizzy) woman smashed into my car... :-(

There are various aftermarket options. I'm sure others will post the names and websites you should hae a look at - personally, I like the factory look best.

Good luck!

Default BrentTTR, didn't meet you at TTE, maybe next time! Not sure how much damage you have,

but check out Georgia TTech's JE Design front end. It might cover nicely and looks very sharp.

Default same thing happen to me.

Stock bumper is about $400 and painting it should be another $250.

Default the caractere kit from lltek is really nice

i believe you can still get the painted there too. to install it im pretty sure you have to cut the bumper off (right under the license plate in your pic) and then the caractere front valance gets attatched.
