Adjustable FPR finally tuned>>>>>

as some have seen...by leaning out from a 4bar FPR, the TT responds by running stronger. My car, unfortunately did not do this. It actually started to run worse.
I was using Lambda for reference..and the car was showing numbers all over the place. In purchasing a wideband A/F gauge, and i have yet to install it, i figured i would play with the FPR and use Part throttle adaptation as a reference instead till the wideband is installed.
If your part throttle settings show a positive number, the car is correcting for lean...if your car is showing a negative number, it is correcting for rich.
My car at the beginning of the day was indicating +7.5 or so...which is a lean correction. In theory, the closer to 0 (zero) you get, the less correction your ECU is doing, the closer to an optimized tuned state the car runs.
After adjusting my FPR for MORE fuel, my lean correction was dropping. By the end of the drive, it is now showing this.....

PERFECTION....
FPR setting is currently at 57psi, AT IDLE. This would be approximately 64psi at full throttle...+/- a few pounds, which indicates approx 4.35 bar!!!! WOW...
The car runs great...feels stronger...more snap...and overall much nicer. I also performed a throttle body adaptation which seems to have helped too....Overall...it is awesome...
So...that just goes to show ya, the GIAC X chip, in combination with all of my mods...is ready for more fuel than a 4 bar could deliver. So much for the theory of not having enough head room there! ;-)
Now...i may need to go to 440cc injectors soon..;-)

Spot on! APR does not seem to be as needy as I've found that 3.8 bar is about perfect for me. Everybody keep in mind, that while the drop in 4 bar is quite acceptable for **** use, a little fine tuning is available with an adjustable if you want to take the time to run the numbers and make the investment in the adjustable unit.........
