Default air injection needs fixin?

this is what my vag is tellin me:

4 Faults Found:
16795 - Secondary Air Injection System: Incorrect Flow Detected
P0411 - 35-00 - -
16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0300 - 35-00 - -
16688 - Cylinder 4: Misfire Detected
P0304 - 35-00 - -
16955 - Brake Switch (F): Implausible Signal
P0571 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

what my car is telling me:

as i accellerate usually to the floor, its bogging out round 3.5k then 4k then 5k

now sometimes in some gears this doesnt happen or if i hold back a bit but usually it does.

it just feels like the fuel injection has like a blip in the software, i dont really know.

maybe its the Secondary Air Injection System detection making my cyl4 misfire?

any ideas?

i dont think yours seems to be turbo related like mine.. it seems air injection related.. either bad pump, bad relay(s), or solenoid, which is causing those misfires. thats why your engine bogs and cuts. when the turbo cuts and cylinders misfire/cut it is a different feeling

1. Replace your brake switch (I recommend the VW part).
2. Ignore the secondary air pump, it only runs on cold start & would not cause misfires.
3. Swap the coil pack on Cyl 4 with a different cylinder & see if the misfire follows. If it does, replace that coil pack. If not replace your plugs.

That should get you started.

so i swapped plugs from cyl 1 and 4 (may be dumb but i dont know which side is 1 and which is 4) and still had misfire in four. then i swapped coils 1 and 4 this morning and i got misfire in cyl 1 which i thought was great, i ordered new coil, $32 advancedauto, put it on the far left cyl ( facing car) and my car ran great so i thought, got thru all the gears , heavy acceleration, no bogging out, then like 2 miles later, after some heavy play, it bogged out again, not nearly as often as it used to, but idk what else is wrong, im gonna check the vag in the morning to see what it says, no more check engine light though!!!

Glad I could help. How did the plugs look when you pulled them out?

You still need to replace that brake switch ... that can actually interfere somewhat. (Unlikely though) The purple VW one is only a few bucks.

The intermittent random misfire could be plugs. When were they last replaced? What were they gapped to?
