Airbag light is on, and codes. Do I need a new airbag, or can I fix this?

Default check carefully if electrical connectors for that airbag are still secure

sometimes moving the seat all the way forward can strain the connectors. That airbag is in the side of your seat. Clear the codes and see if it comes back. If it comes back and you are sure the connectors are solid, then you need a new airbag.

Default Woah, Thats good to know, because we do move the seat back and foarth>>

Its the GF's car that I occasionally drive. where are these connectors?

The codes do come back every key turn, where are the connectors?

not an airbag...most likely the control module. needs to be reset by dealer only.
