Airbag sticker on sun visors now permanent? Any methods for removal?
Many complained about my sunvisor airbag warnings during a recent pictoral display of my headliner. However, looking at these - it would appear that in late model 2002 cars - they no longer use stickers - but rather silk screen or paint them onto the actual sun visors. These do not look removable.
I tried with fingers and subsequently tweezers on a hot day to find an "edge" to the stickers - but there really doesn't appear to be any?
Has anyone discovered a method for cleanly removing these without harming the paint or the leather?

Mine wasn't completed applied...
so I was able to get an edge of the material. However, it just tore at the edge. It's definately not a silk screen. It was a vinyl material but it looks to have been 'welded' with the actual visor. Most suggestions I got dealt with heat.

go to a photo store and buy some pec-12...
it's actually for cleaning negatives, and definitely use it in a well-ventillated area unless you're looking for an ether-like high...
if pec-12 can't get it off, it's there for good (mine were stickers)...
good luck!

Maybe a hairdryer and tweezers?
That should work...if not, I suggested to DennyTT that she should get them reupholstered in leather.
She didn't take the offer, but that's besides the point. lol
That would be some hot shiz to have them in leather. (Denny, sound familiar?)
