Default Airbag Warning Light

Can anyone help, my Airbag light has started comming on . I plugged in my VAG-COM and got the following Fault Codes:-

Controller: 8N8 909 601
Component: Airbag Front+Seite 1008
Coding: 10102
Shop #: WSC 01236
2 Faults Found:
01044 - Control Module Incorrectly Coded
35-00 - -
00591 - Seat Belt Switch: Left (E24)
35-00 - -

My car (UK spec 2001 TT 225 Import) does not have seat belt switches and according to my bentley repair manual it is coded correctly with 10102 .

Could it be a faulty module?

Thanks

Nik

Default This was happening alot to me, they tried a bunch of things but all that working for more than a

month so far was to take out my drivers seat and replace the side airbag. They had previously done the main one in the steering wheel but that did not do it. I do not have the print out with me of the fault codes but what you list is kind of what I remember seeing.
