I have installed Bilstein sports front and rear 2001 TT Quattro with original springs and 15ok original miles safter severe inner tire wears on fronts and inner wear on backs. After reading many posts on Alignment, I requested Momentum Audi in north Houston to set front Camber to -.8 with 0.00 Toe and Rear Camber -1.6 and .08 Toe. The tech indicates they cant set to those specs for camber and can only do toe. A nearby NTB indicates they can only set toe for front so I discarded them immediately as they obviously dont know much about the vehicle. Many specs on forum are for lowered vehicles. Are the above settings good for stock springs with the Bilstein sports that are a little shorter than the OEM Monroes? Anyone know shops in Houston, Beaumont Texas area that can set those specs?

On the front, the toe and camber should be doable with no problem using the stock adjustment range. On the rear, you're going to have to put some camber correection parts in to hit -1.6 even at the stock ride height. There is no factory adjustment.
With the toe corrected and regular rotation of your tires should get you pretty even wear in the future..

Thanks for the indput. I seems if I can get the toe settings then the camber is not a big issue. I had the dealer fax a specification chart, however it is in minutes and has a totally different set of numbers. It was sent from a secure site only accessible by dealership personell. audiaccess.com. It shows numbers for Sports Suspension and Standard Suspension that differ only on caster setting for the front wheels listed as not adjustable, and the rear toe is different for front wheel drive between the two suspensions. The rear settings for Quattro are the same. Sorry I am not able to scan it, maybe someone with access can add the specs or add a link. How does one convert the minutes to the common settings. For example the minutes table shows front: camber (/=-) -58' +/ 30' toe +4' +/ 3.5' rear axle: front drive camber -2deg +/ 20' toe + 19.5' +/5' quattro camber varies with height and type of suspension sport vs standard ( I wont try to list all the settings that range from -2deg 48' at 332mm to -1deg 10' at 382mm (25.4mm is one inch)

Any good alignment shop can do that. And realize also that the "Sport" settings are just the result of lowering a suspension without a lot of factory adjustment points. Those specs you quote are built into most alignment machines. Do yourself a favor and use the numbers below. Many of us have found this to be an almost perfect street set-up. As mentioned before you'll need camber correction parts on the rear to get those camber numbers.
On a stock quattro car, front toe, front camber and Rear toe are adjustable.

Thanks. I went for the alignment with my specs. Oops lower tie rod need replacement on driver side. Was suggested to replace upper too. should I replace both sides upper and lower. What else should be done while it is apart. Should the front wheel drives connections be repaced. Having a mental block for the names. How easy are they to replace?
