Are all Audi TTs drive by wire and what dose drive by wire mean

Yes, and it means the throttle opening is controlled electronically,
as opposed to a mechanical cable between the gas pedal and throttle. The ECU reads what your right foot is doing on the gas, and decides how much and when to open or close the throttle.
