For what it's worth...

If you really don't want the phone it's a dealer de-installable option on delivery, as is the CD player.

We had the phone & cradle deinstalled from our 180Q when it arrived (someone accidentally ordered it even though we specifically asked for no phone)

Re: Same with Lexus RX300

I've been in the US this week and stayed with my brother who has a RX300 - he had the same thing ie all cars were fully loaded (he said Lexus charged about $1000 for the CD changer ?? what a rip-off). Seems this is common in the US.....
