Default Re: Where in WI?

Hi,

I'm currently at Ft. McCoy, by La Crosse, and will be here for probably a year (or 2). My hone is in Mequon, north of Milwaukee.

I hope to take the TT out of the garage this weekend!

Default I drive mine year round - GREAT fun & reliable daily driver IMO. If you're ever near Milwaukee

in the future, let me know and we can do a drive or something fun like that if you're interested.

Default I like my pilot alpins, getting ready to put summer...

tires on this weekend. The pilots are H rated, handle very nicely, are fairely quiet and I would consider them year round as OK . We had a very snowy mid-atlantic winter and the Alpins were fantastic. I have a 225TTR and was able to go anywhere with less than a foot of snow. I still think dedicated summer/winter setups are the best, but it depends on how much driving you do and how much you want to use the car.

Default Loved my Pirelli P7000 SuperSports...

I had them in the stock size and got about 25K miles out of them - not bad at all...

Default Thanks for the replies!

Hi all,

Thanks for the replies. I broke down and bought MI Pilot Sports A/S today. The tires seem quieter than the stock potenza's (which lasted 27K; and the tireman said they were still in OK shape)and seem great so far.

Default Mich Pilot Sport A/S TT Tires - Follow-up and Review

Hello,

Just a follow up on my new tires. It rained/sleeted and snowed over the past 24 hours here in western Wisconsin. I was cautious at first to drive my car with the new tires (MICH Pilot Sport A/S)but I quickly found out there was no need to worry. The car performed fine and very stable on the rain/ice/snow mix that I know I made a good decison. Thanks all who responded.

Default Yup, another springtime snow in Chicago this morn ->

and the Pilot Sport A/S earned their keep. Saw a few SUV's off the expressway on the way out to Elgin, gotta love a Quattro day.
