but I experienced an odd occurance concerning my Haldex unit. Anytime the car was taken on the interstate for any long period of time, approximately 15 or more minutes, the ESP light would come on and stay on regardless if whether or not the ESP button on the dash were pressed directly after the light would come on. I brought it in to Momentum Audi in Houston at the same time I received my 10k service. They tapped into the computer and found that there was a faulty Haldex module on the car. This is located just in front, and on top of the actual haldex unit in a place that happened to be very difficult to reach. After 3 attempts and a little Haldex fluid that leaked as a result of a misaligned gasket on the module, the new $870 high dollar part seemed to remedy the problem. The Audi tech and supervisor mentioned that this occured quite often on the TT's. Anyone else had a similar experience?? Just curious and thanks in advance. -Doug

Had mine done just last week, All wheel drive control module, not communicating..They had to drop the Haldex unit to replace the Module.. So far everything looks good, no more ESP light. Also when it was in the shop I had them replace the Instrument cluster (Buzzing) and FSU seal and lock ring..All these repairs are not all that uncomon, Service was good but the loaner was a minivan!!!
