Default Almost there...

Well, its not lightweight, but it has to be done.. I think the box will weigh more then 1 of my seats.. The sub will be firing upwards and pointing towards the back.. Im currently thinking about making the front of the box a plexi piece instead of the mdf that is currenly on there.. If I do the plexi glass I will also install a black light in the box for the extra bling (only put on for kicks and covered up when driving around).. The rest of the rear will be filled in with 2 fiberglass storage boxes which are 85% done.. Just need to make some cuts and glue the pieces together.. So what do you guys think? To bling or not to bling? The sub is a 10" aluminum eclipse (perfect match with the interior), and Im using the stock headunit (matches too well with the interior), and the base of the box is fiberglass which was molded to the rear seating area.. Looks like it will be 100% done for waterfest.. Just need to pick up some quick releases and find an installer to tap in some lines.. and all done.. Oh yeah, I think im going to wrapp the storage box in alcantara if I can't find a suitable carpet.. The alcantara would match the seats and the lower dash .. yeah, I said lower dash.. Sorry, but its too heavy.. I gotta take some readings, but I think Ill lose 50lbs up front by replacing both the glove box and drivers side dash with 2 fiberglass units wrapped in alcantara .. Other upcoming projects include remounting the battery in the rear.. A must when removing the 66lb lead weight on the rear bumper.. I think she is finally coming along.. Other future mods on to do list (in exact order and will be started when the checks start rolling in), coilovers, seats, exhuast, then chip (which has become a big ? for me.. to X-chip or not.. humm)

Your going to rip out one of the nice parts of the car, to make up for a big speaker and some wood?

Default AH HAHAHA.. Your kidding right?

I hope so.. Those rear seats are 95% WASTE.. Porsche has a rear seat delete option for a reason... Now if you think its simply a big speaker and some wood, humm.. Nevermind.. You simply have no idea.. Maybe you should go look at a TT or something..
