Am I the last one to get home from TT-West? (many pics)
My plane got in around 8pm (east coast) and I've been sifting through email (lotsa spam) and photos (it's good to be the passenger!) and catching up on posts (about twelve pages worth) since then.
TT-West was a huge experience for me. I got to fly in and hang with the Arizona crew (Brian, Michelle, Dave, Christian, Aryele, Josh) before and after the festivities in Las Vegas. I got to drive a Mini and listen to the supercharger whine. I got a surprise wake-up call from a nap from Steve & Sheryl (the <i>TTiggs</i>). I got to spend some time with one of my bestest Asheville buds, Glen (<i>VenTTed</i>) and finally meet his lovely wife Kerry.
Anyway, while words are nice, pictures kick ***, so here we go.
Things started out shaky. The view on my first flight (and they wouldn't even let me mod it!):

It quickly got better. My new Arizona peeps, Brian (<i>MyBluTT</i>), Michelle (Mrs. MyBluTT a.k.a. Patron Gal), and Dave (<i>ex-TTahoe-bum</i>):

The infamous Aryele (<i>discobarbie</i> - yes, she's real, get over it) in a silly moment...

...and a very pretty one (that's the Mini I had):

Dave's (Yo, ese!) TT with some sweet landscape:

Probably the most important thing I learned at TT-West:

Big time thank yous to the organizers (especially Gina!) and my hosts in Phoenix. And a shout out to my new buddy, TTahoe - I haven't laughed that much in a *long* time - I think I bruised a rib.
So anyway, I'm back safely (but need to go to bed) and reinvigorated from my vacation. I should be more active here (if that's possible) and in getting the Northeast TT site up, seeing how I resigned from my job just before heading west. It's very much a freeing experience, and I recommend it if you can pull it off.<ul><li><a href="http://www.gweep.net/~rubin/tt/images/ttwest.2002/">Many, many more pics (and 100+ still to upload)</a></li></ul>
