Currently, the Audi line offers the A4 in a beautiful Laser Red. The car is just gorgeous in person, and the color is delightful.<p>It was my hope that this would be the choice color Red for the TT - alas, however, the site lists a new Amulet red for the car.<p>Most pictures appear dark red - like amulet - and too deep for my liking. Does anyone know of how this will actually look in the flesh? Has anyone seen one? (Not available yet, most likely - but out in Germany, perhaps? A test version?!)<p>I'd love to see how the red will turn out, preferably before it arrives. I really want a Red TT 225Q - but not if the red is too dark!<p>Hmmm....

Hi,<p>I will be at the factory on thursday (picking up my TT 225... :-)) and hope I can get a closer look on some prototypes. AFAIK, the chairman has a very special TT; perhaps it is Laser Red ;-)<p>Michael

I believe that if memory serves in the Round and Track supplement the design team at Audi said they selected less vibrant colors for the TT by design. The mindset was don't let the color over power the lines. The color should enhance the design elements. <p>Amulet was selected over Laser red for this reason. I speced my 225Q with the Amulet red but have no idea of the colors availablility in 2001. The only colors I've seen here a re silver blue and black. Does anybody know when the other colors will begin to ship stateside?!;-)

The TT-Q I have on order is going to be Amulet Red color. (Audi color code 4G4G) Delivery is expected in September 99.

AJC,<p>The amulet red is a pearl effect color so it has some pearlescence (sp?). I think that many car companies are using similar colors (Ford for one) on some of their cars. It definitely is a darker shade.

NEED PHOTOS!!!!
I finally got to the top of the wait list and will put in my order for a 225HP Coupe in the next several days. I'm having a difficult time selecting a color as I've not seen a green, gray or red car.
Could some one please post pictures of their green red and gray cars? A side, back and front would be great.
