Default Annoying 2KHz tone in AM radio, can it be fixed?

I'm hearing an annoying high pitched tone when I listen to AM radio, sometimes it goes off, but most of the time it's there going "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep" for minutes on end. Can it be fixed somehow by my dealer?

Thanks,

Default No.

It seems like it might be Haldex stuff getting into the radio (like the beeping on quiet CD tracks.)

It falls into the ever-popular "Audi knows about it but doesn't have a fix or a timeframe for one" category...
