Default Another Head Unit Question!

Has anyone hooked up a pioneer head unit using MARTT 's instructions . i followed them exactly but i cant get the head unit to power on. Any advice. Thanks in advance

and/or Model # for web-check. (as in, 'Did you connect this wire to this?")

Default I think I see the problem. Does the Metra connector try to get 'switched' power from the OEM H/U....

connector?
If so, this may be your problem.

What year TT?

this connection does not always supply a stady switched +12V.

I suggest you look at this, and tray a source of switched power from the fuse box.

Default Because your 03 doesn't have switched power at the harness - 03 unit powered by canbus

I have an 02 TTR. Still the same as 03 or not

So when i run it to the fuse box do i have to remove a fuse or is there an open spot?

Default Your best, safest bet is to remove the lower dash, and tap in right at the back of the fuse box.

This old, slightly out-of-focus shot outlines the middle area of the rear of the fuse box. This area is all "switched" by the ignition relay.
Solder or tap into a wire here, that goes to your fuse that goes to your H/U/
