Default any difference between DV's?

Started thinking about mods today...the first being the DV, since my wife would never notice .
Anyway, I search the forums and reviews for any differences between the forge, bailey, and hyperboost from stratmosphere. They all cost about the same. Is there really any difference?

Default If I were you, I would stick with the Forge or the Hyperboost....

they are essentially the same thing (looks aside) and even the parts are interchangeable. One just sorta copied the other.

I dont really hear any rave reviews about the Bailey anymore, they have all but become a distant 3rd choice IMHO.

Stick with either of the other 2 and you should be fine.

Default I think Sean's right about the Bailey DV. Haven't heard to many great things about >>

their valve. I've had both the Forge and Hyperboost, which both work fine. They're both easy to service using Mobil 1 synthetic grease. It you want tunability, the Hyperboost is now available with an adjustable lid. This way you don't have to add shims between the spring and piston to "preload" or increase tension. Right now I've got a Hyperboost with 3mm of shimming which seems to work nice. I'm gonna put on the adjustable lid and set it with 4mm spacing, which should be perfect with my setup.

Sweet sig btw!

Default I think that's because the Bailey's were first and seem to

just be working - so one one is raving about
them. It's now the newer products that are getting
talked about. My Bailey seems to be fine, although
I have only the stock POS to compare it to.

Were I buying today, I'd probably stick to one of
the newer ones as well, but I don't think that at
all means to stay away from the Bailey. If you can
get one at a good price, I don't see any reason why
not unless you want the latest greatest now.

Default Ive gone through several Forges, now I run the stock N type

DV, the only DV that might interest me is the Forge diaphragm type that isnt commonly used over here. I think the weight of the pistons and the oring configurations on both the forge and hyperboost designs is bad engineering....
